Appropriately, we’ll begin with Herbie Berger in New York who was one of the first people to become an Acuscope Therapist in 1979. Herbie has a fascinating history leading up to a highly successful practice today in downtown New York City.

History:
1982 – Acuscope Therapist for the 49ers. Traveled with the team during the season when Joe Montana and the Niners won the SuperBowl. Click here for more photos.
1983 – 1985 University of Hawaii was the first university to evaluate Acuscope/Myopulse for an athletic dept. Herbie installed the equipment, trained the therapists, and stayed on as a staff member to oversee treatments.
1984 – Member of the US Olympic Medical Staff at Olympic Headquarters Summer Games.
1986 – 87 Introduced Acuscope/ Myopulse System to professional basketball working with the NY Knicks.
1987 – 1990 Electro-therapist at The Osteopathic Center for Dance using the Acuscope and Myopulse in the largest such practice in America (Manhattan, N.Y.)
1991 – 1999 Member of the medical staff for the the NYC Ballet working with Marika Mulnar, the #1 Dance Physical Therapist in the world.
2003 – 2005 Visiting practitioner for the Miami City Ballet, treating the Artistic Director and Founder
Mr. Edward Villella, the greatest American Ballet Dancer of this century.
