What is it?
Micro-current technology reduces pain by restoring normal electrical conductivity through tissue impaired by damage from injury and overuse syndromes.
In areas of acute pain (swelling, heat, inflammation), recovery is accelerated by the influence of bio-compatible currents helping to further increase electrical activity to finish the job of accelerated tissue self-repair. How does the Acuscope give the operator feedback?
What you will see is a digital display, LED numbers that tell you whether the tissue is acute (hot, inflammed, abnormally electrically active because it is attempting to self-repair damaged cells). The readout will also indicate where the tissue is chronic (has become blocked, low and discharged). The bio-feedback is fascinating as it changes during the process of treatment, indicating improved cellular capacitance. This is reflected in the digital display and the corresponding auditory tones.
How many treatments are necessary to achieve results?
A well-trained bio-technician will observe the feedback to monitor progress and determine an efficient course of therapy.
