In 1978, when the Acuscope was first released, Jan's husband, Dr. Joel Rossen was the first Veterinarian to use this remarkable equipment in his small animal practice in North Hollywood, California. As a result of his enthusiasm, and seeing such amazing results, he replaced Acupuncture needles with micro-current Acuscope treatments.
Shortly thereafter, Jan and Joel decided to introduce this technology to the Veterinary community. Their efforts were so well received that the Nebrensky's (the inventor / manufacturer) gave them the first Acuscope distributorship in the country.
Jan became the Trainer for their company. With a Master’s Degree in Education and as a Professional Motivational Speaker on Memory and Mind-Body Health, she has developed a training program that has evolved over 32 years into a comprehensive foundation for incorporating the Acuscope System into any type of practice dedicated to the health of patients.
Having spent countless hours learning first-hand from Dr. Tony Nebrensky, the ingenious creator of the equipment, she brings a profound understanding of the technology together with remarkable insights into the workings of human physiology. A gifted teacher, author of the original and the latest Operator's Manual & Treatment Procedures Guide, her greatest satisfaction is when a student says "Well, now I understand how this works; it really makes sense!"
Her widely acclaimed 8-hour video training on The Electro-Acuscope/Myopulse System (Basic Introduction & Treatment Procedures) is now available on DVD. A new training video using the latest models will soon be available.
Until 1995, Jan owned and operated the Distributorship. She has conducted thousands of hands-on trainings, workshops, and seminars around the country for MDs, D.O.’s, Physical Therapists, Medical Assistants, Chiropractors, Podiatrists, Dentists, Acupuncturists, Veterinarians, Pain Management Clinics, Pro Ball Teams, and Medical Spas.
Today, living in Las Vegas, (no longer a Distributor - by choice), she is the National Trainer, working with the current Distributors, providing training for their professional customers around the world.
